Hyungjun Cho is an Assistant Professor of AI and Design in the School of Art + Art History at the University of Florida. His work in speculative design provokes critical discourse on the experiential, social, and cultural impacts of emerging technologies through creating artifacts. One of his research interests is how design research can illuminate and shape the ways technology influences human thought and behavior. From this perspective, his work has explored design approaches that support the social expectations, norms, and meanings underlying human-to-human communication.
